Jim Stoeber is the owner of indie label and recording studio
Tegancat Music in Winnipeg. He has spent a good portion of
his life playing in bands of many genres, touring, songwriting
and recording. At one point at the end of a long tour this
Regina native settled in Winnipeg.

As the owner of Tegancat Music, Jim has focused mainly on
producing and co-writing for other artists; however, recently
he has also been songwriting and recording himself.
His songs range from acoustic-tinged pop such as "April"
and "Survive” to the ambient “Just Passin Thru” (F. Vicki Shae)
to the bluesy pop single “Sick Day”, the funky alt-rock "Give It Up"
and much more. No boundaries.

Jim can currently be found performing with Winnipeg bands
the Kim Reimer band and Inna Riddim.

A true story of a rescue orange lily named
George who was transplanted into a tiger
lily flower bed. There he fell endlessly in
love with a fine tiger lily named Georgina.

The inspiration for this song came after
years of performing at the Relay for Life.
A catchy tune with island vibes, good for
walking to. I've played in reggae bands
for much of my life and this was a natural
for the theme, walking.

Easy on the ears, this pop offering
is easy to relate to. If you've ever felt
you just needed to get away, anywhere
you don't care, an adventure, then this
song was written for you.

you kind of don't want them to change
sums up this upbeat fun song. I always
wanted to write a song with a down-tuned
low E-to-a-D string on my guitar.

exception with its brooding but hopeful
